Hi, I’m Maggie, and I’d like to share a little secret about the name Miaka Patches—it’s inspired by my two wonderful children, Mia and Kaka. So, every time you see our brand, it’s not just a name, but the essence of family love and inspiration.
Mia is a quiet, thoughtful girl with a knack for discovery. She can spend a whole morning crafting in peace, creating beautiful things with her hands. On the other hand, Kaka is the mischievous older brother, always full of questions and curiosity. He’s the type who can’t help but disrupt his sister’s craft projects, often making things more chaotic than intended—making him the playful “bad boy” of the duo!
Together, Mia and Kaka are the heartbeat of Miaka Patches, blending creativity with fun and energy. Their personalities reflect the spirit of our brand: a perfect balance of calm, focus, and a bit of joyful chaos!
As a mother, I’ve spent over 18 enriching years nurturing both my children and my passion for crafting. It’s been a journey of discovery, much like the ones Mia and Kaka experience in their daily lives. Over time, this passion grew into a full-fledged team effort. What started as a simple love for applique and trims soon blossomed into a leading patch-making business. Today, Miaka Patches isn’t just about designs; it’s about creating quality, heartfelt products that resonate with families everywhere.
From our humble beginnings to the notable motifs and patches you now see in stores like Joann, Hobby Lobby, Spotlight, and Daiso, the spirit of Mia and Kaka is woven into every patch we create. The Miaka essence is not just in the products, but in the story we tell, the love we share, and the joy we spread—making every creation feel as personal as a crafted gift from home.
As you explore our collections and get inspired for your next DIY adventure, remember you’re not just purchasing a patch. You’re embracing a story, an art collection, and the love of a mother for her craft and family.
Thanks for being here, and here’s to many creative projects together!
